Located on the East Frontage Road between Tubac and Tumacácori (look for the giant chicken statues out front), this roadside diner is a Santa Cruz Valley institution that has been in business since 1944.
The menu includes some twists on standard Mexican fare, including tostadas, tacos, and enchiladas made with turkey. Save room for this Wisdom’s main draw – huge, fried fruit burritos that are basically Mexican fruit pies rolled in a tortilla.
