Ongoing Classes -  New Summer Classes

 

Mondays & Wednesdays @ 2pm – Aquatic Tai Chi and Qi Gong for Longevity (water) – Staff

An aquatic class that regulates and harmonizes the entire self with mind, body and spirit exercises.  Kat applies Tai Chi and Qi Gong techniques, addresses individual concerns, and guides the group in meditation and movement.  The goal is to relax, release and let go while strengthening from the core out.  Class content changes with those present and is a little different each time.  Bring your friends and dance in the healing waters!  No experience required.

 

Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 10:00am – Aqua Nia Dance – Pati Hope 

Nia is a physical conditioning program based on a premise that movement is a pathway for self-discovery and personal transformation. Nia is intended to deliver cardiovascular aerobic exercise, whole-body conditioning and is considered a body-mind-spirit exercise like yoga. Nia draws from disciplines of the marital arts, dance arts and healing arts. Now, let’s take it to the water. Community Class $5 (Beginning May 15)

 

Tuesday & Thursday @ 11am – Aqua Training Stretching and Strengthening (water)- John Martin LMT, Certified Weight Trainer

Class starts with gentle stretching of all of the major muscle groups of the body, followed by a focused strength training session. Ending with a shorter more specific flexibility session. Excellent for athletic cross training or re-training after injury.

 

Friday, 6pm  Aquatic Mediation – Staff

Feel the benefits of mindfulness. Reduce stress, increase mind body awareness, & connection to breath. Get a foundational understanding of meditation practice or deepen your existing practice. Must call to register: 520.398.3193  Community Class $5

 

Saturdays @ 11am  - Aqua Yoga (water) – Kim Flowers, RYT:

A gentle form of yoga done in warm water.  Meditative & flowing. Good for range of movement, relaxation, & toning. A great way to begin a yoga practice & strengthen the body overall.

Please wear a bathing suit. (large pool)
