| If you are looking for a serene place to escape and enjoy nature that is steeped in history, look no further. You won’t find more authentically historic lodging in southern Arizona!
Nestled in the village of Tubac, the Floating Stone Inn & Aqua Spa is a historically unique property with two all-adobe residences. One, the Charles Poston Residence, built in the 1850s, housed the founding father of Arizona; the other, Casita Linda, built in the early 1900s, was the original rectory of St. Ann’s Church. Both residences have been beautifully maintained over the years and will serve as the basis for our new, 4-rrom, onsite Inn lodging in the fall when we open. Nearby are 97 shops, galleries, and restaurants that you can now view when you click on “galleries”. The Casitas are one-bedroom apartments, also located in Tubac. Walk to everything the village has to offer and stay in these tastefully decorated accommodations that feature washer/dryer, private patio, WiFi, satellite TV, and views of the Santa Rita Mountains. We are very excited about our Inn and Casitas and the changes on the horizon. We want to share our excitement with you. Coming in the Second Half of 2010: The Aqua Spa.
The Aqua Spa will feature five oriental-style, eco-friendly pools, along with
a range of holistic and organic treatments for face and body. The pools are all
chemical-free and include a lap pool, a Watsu (water-massage) pool, and three
hot-therapy pools (1 available for private hourly rental.) Prepare yourself for
an unsurpassed experience at the Floating Stone Aqua Spa.
As a model of sustainable, ecologically sensitive living, the Floating Stone Inn &
Aqua Spa will also be offering educational programs geared to helping you
live a healthier, more resilient lifestyle.
